Integrated Management System (IMS) combines two or more management systems to enable an organization to achieve its goals and objectives.
Our 8-day IMS Practitioner course consists of five days of class work and three days self-study activity. As part of the five-day class work is a half day exam on the eighth day of the course.
This course combines three practitioner courses including ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001, into one coherent course.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Learn how to interpret and implement the requirements of ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, ISO 27001 in the specific context of an organization
- Acknowledge the correlation between ISO 27001; ISO 22301; ISO 20000-1 and other standards and regulatory frameworks
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts, approaches, methods, and techniques used for the implementation and effective management of a business continuity management system, service management system and/or information security management system
- Understand the operation of a business continuity management system, service management system and/or information security management system and their processes based on specified regulatory requirements.
- Acquire the necessary knowledge to support and/or advise an organization in effectively planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and maintaining a business continuity management system, service management system and/or information security management system

PREREQUISITE
There are no prerequisites for this course. It functions as a stand-alone course.

CERTIFICATION EXAM
Participants will write a 150-minute certification exam on the last day of the course, and shall receive an IMS Practitioner Certificate, issued by TCIC, a Canadian 3rd party certification body.
The requirements for IMS Practitioner Certificate include:
- Prerequisite for Examination
- Attend five-day course
- Work on the three-day assignment as a team or individually
- Receive a passing score
- Write practitioner examination and pass. Competency domains include:
