Job Description:
The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience selling training programmes to the tune of N150m per annum and will be accountable for the following:
- Selling of all training Courses (In-person, Virtual-Instructor Lead as well as e-learning Courses); Organize and follow up on training leads.
- Developing new businesses through training.
- Developing partnerships with educational institutions for the sale of the company’s training courses.
- Handle all training related strategic and tactical objectives and other related documents e.g., preparing appraisal matrix, course price lists, course calendar etc.
- Courseware Development:
- Develop new courses (eLearning, VILT & In-person);
- Review and amend existing courses (eLearning, VILT & In-person);
- Prepare course brochures etc.
- Coordinating the accreditation of courses by relevant accreditation bodies;
- Other activities that may arise in the area of courseware development.
- Reporting:
- All leads generated;
- All leads qualified;
- All procurement documents prepared and submitted during the period;
- All additional training related opportunities for existing clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in strategic selling of training courses.
- Must be entrepreneurial, with good business acumen.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences from any reputable tertiary institution;
- Certification in Training would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in the use of tools such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Excellent communication skills (writing and verbal) are vital, with strong emphasis on presentation skills.
- Proficient in the following skills: time management; interpersonal; customer management; ability to work under pressure and with little or no supervision; methodical and able to maintain teams focus on an objective; ability to multi-task; administrative skills.
